Biography:As a podiatrist, I treat a variety of ailments that affect the feet.I focus on primary podiatric medicine and forefoot surgery, with special emphasis on the diabetic population and preventative care.
I received my undergraduate degree from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia and my podiatric medical degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. I completed my residency training at Brea Community Hospital and White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles.
I am originally from Ohio and came to the Black Hills in 2001 when my husband, then an Air Force attorney, was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base. We grew to love the friendly community and natural beauty and decided to settle here in 2004. I joined Rapid City Medical Center in 2008.
When Im not in the clinic you can find me skiing or bike riding with my husband and five children. My eldest son has autism spectrum disorder, so I am involved with the skiing and swimming events for Special Olympics. I enjoy working with Special Olympic athletes because of their positive attitudes, perseverance and dedication.Their events are a wonderful celebration of life.
