Galen Britain was born and raised on a farm and ranch in Western South Dakota. After completing his MSW degree, he worked in San Antonio, Texas and Cheyenne, Wyoming; while his wife served in the United States Air Force, before I returned to South Dakota. Britain worked for the Department of Veterans' Affairs for 27 years and also did some coaching at the Hot Springs Public Schools and in community child sports programs. He began my second career with Fall River Health Services in October of 2021, where I continue to provide services. "I am familiar with the struggles farmers and ranchers have every day in making a life for their families. My focus areas are children and youth who are struggling in their school and family lived; elderly in their adjustments to aging and ever changing medical and emotional conditions," states Britain.
