My wife and I reside in Custer County and have five adult children and their families in various areas of USA and one residing in South America. My wife and I have been in health care for many years. We have lived in most regions of USA due to many military assignments, and we have lived in a number of very rural areas including North Dakota, Arizona, Wyoming, South Dakota, Alaska, but we have also lived in large metropolitan cities in the East and the West. We especially appreciate the serenity of the Black Hills.
Having had our own private practice-business, working in many government-sponsored hospitals and clinics, and in community hospitals, I have experienced medicine practiced from various perspectives. The practitioner and administrative staff at FRHS have a genuine concern for the area and its people and providing quality medical and health services as close to home as possible. I hope to help broaden treatment options at FRHS, especially in focusing on the interplay between physical health and psychological functioning, in a practical manner.
