More/Other Information:Mr. Zike has significant experience in the field of Sports Medicine. As he and his sons played soccer, rugby and hockey, he decided to take advantage of the opportunities in Sports Medicine. With that in mind, he traveled the country for nine years as the team medical provider for The University of Minnesota Men's Rugby program. In August of this year he will be traveling to Scotland and England with an Olde Boys team he has played with in the past for a Rugby tour; he will be providing medical coverage and playing Rugby. Mr. Zike has a lengthy resume of his successes; but, one that he is most humbled by is that he spent 16 days in August 2016 in Haapai' Tonga, visiting and providing care to over 11 island villages seeing nearly 700 patients in 15 days.
Mr. Zike is definitely a family man traveling across the US to visit his children and six grandchildren spread from New York City to Seattle and points in between. He is an avid bicyclist and rugby player, playing his last game September 2017 in Aspen, CO. He does plan on playing again while in Scotland.
Mr. Zike first came to Hot Springs in May 2017. He was impressed with the family feeling from the medical staff and of those he came into contact with during his tenure. Mr. Zike was then called to join the provider team full-time and he gladly accepted and returned to Hot Springs on October 2017.
