SD Department of Health has opened up COVID-19 vaccination to all South Dakotans 12 years and older. We are no longer using the Vaccine Waitlist.
COVID-19 and other vaccines may now be administered without regard to timing, across all authorized age groups. This includes simultaneous administration of COVID-19 and other vaccines on the same day, as well as coadministration within 14 days.
If you received the monoclonal antibody infusion wait 90 days from administration of the infusion before receiving the vaccine.
All pediatric patients or guardian must accompany a minor to their appointment.
When scheduling your vaccination appointment, you will only be able to choose a Moderna or Pfizer vaccine. If you prefer J & J please sign up for MyChart or call our COVID-19 line at 605.745.8910.
* Fall River Health Services continues their efforts to address COVID-19 concerns and has the best interest of their community at heart. Everyone who enters the facility is required to wear a mask. Our patients will be screened when checking in for their appointment. If any questions are answered 'yes', the patient will return to their car and be referred to the Covid nurse to assess whether a Covid test is necessary. Fall River Health Services and Seven Sisters Living Center have opened up limited visitation; but please note that this policy could change on a daily basis based on the current situation. Please call first to assure visitors are being accepted. FRHS requires all visits to be scheduled due to staffing and not more than 4 people at a time.
